Artistic Aquarium

Nifrel  is in the north of Osaka. It opened in November, 2015. World Exposition (EXPO) took place there in 1970. Nifrel Osaka is an artistic aquarium which has never built before.  Nifrel is artistically produced by integrating fish and atmospheric aquarium. In short, Nifrel creats romantic atmosphere. Nifrel is good place not only for children but also for couples. Childrens are so excited about beautiful disco mirror ball.

Doctor fish

Nifrel have doctor fish(Garra rufa) that eat dead skin cells of people. It is believed that they make beautiful skin and activate nerves. Doctor fish If people dip their fingers in the water, doctor fish are rally around. Children are so excited that they get hung up with it.

Animals in aquarium

We can see  a white tiger in Nifrel. He is  trapped in upper cage near  the ceiling. He is  a kind of symbol of  Nifrel. The artwork of white tiger  is printed on cookies and chocolate in souvenir shop. There is also gentle alligator near the white tiger. There is also cafeteria near the animals. You can try alligator-shaped Japanese curry there. You can see beautiful birds and cute monkeys with striped tail on the way through the cafeteria. They are not in cages.  You can feel animals ,though you cannot touch.

Admission Charge

Admission charge is 1,900 yen for adult, 1,000 yen for elementary and junir high schoolers,and 600 yen for infants (ages 3 or order) It is possible to buy ticket on line, but there is no discount. You can buy annual pass which can be used for 1 year by paying 6800 for adult 3500 for elementary and junir high schoolers and 2100 for infants (ages 3 or order) ,that is price about 3 or 4 times. There is twilight pair ticket in evening. It cost 3500 yen for two adults.
